Last night while grocery shopping at Sheng Shiong, we came across some D13 durians. We simply couldn't resist and bought some. Oh, they were good! We ate some when we got home and finished up the leftovers today.
When Daddy got back from work this evening, he suggested going back there again to get more durians. So after dinner, we headed down to the supermarket and this time there were more of the thorny fruit on the big crates and after a few minutes of selection, bought 2 durians and another 2 takeaway boxes of the prepacked ones.
Heidi couldn't really take durians well though, would gag on it even when she was only fed a tiny piece. Daddy and I even joked about searching for durians at Mandai Road but after some thought, Daddy said he doesn't want to get swarmed by those commando mosquitoes in the forest. Oh well.
