Had dinner with Gong Gong and some relatives at a chinese restaurant at Lengkok Bahru. Po Po had gone to Malaysia to visit my grandmother so was unable to join us. We had "Loh Hei" of course and Heidi was clapping her hands away when she saw us tossing the raw fish salad.
After that we went to Uncle Joe Chua's place for another gathering. Our stomachs were still pretty full when we arrived although it was really some feast that Auntie Susan had prepared. There were buah keluak, vegetable curry, satays, fried beehoon, sushi, pasta and some other yummy food. Met Uncle Joe Chua's German neighbour who stayed on the 24th floor. He brought us to his house for a little tour and I simply fell in love with his living room. There was a jacuzzi near the balcony and the place looked just like a little resort. Very nice. I told Daddy that if we want to afford a house like that now, we have to buy lots of toto and lottery. This German guy was very creative too who did some light craft and deco himself.
Later at nite, we went to Auntie Sue Ann's boyfriend's house for Black Jack. Heidi had lots of fun with Cookie, a cute pudgy Jack Russell, with black patches who kept licking at Heidi's face. Daddy offered to bring Heidi back home first while I continue playing. Very touched by his offer to babysit Heidi cos he hasn't done that before. After an hour or so we still left together cos I was still quite worried that he couldn't handle our little girl alone.
