Heidi is able to say these letters quite clearly now - A, C, D, E, F, K, L, M, O, and T ( she stills says B as D). She can recognize most letters too. I was wearing an Esprit t-shirt today and got her to point me the letters as I read them out randomly. She got them all correct twice. All thanks to Daddy's almost everyday coaching. He uses this website http://www.starfall.com/ besides books and magnetic letters.
When we travel in the car, she would sometimes say some alphabet out loud and we would be turning our heads to see where and what she was referring to. It could be some words on gigantic posters, big signboards, names of buildings with huge letters or the levels of the carpark too.
In playgroup class, she is able to point to me correctly at the pics pasted on the wall like chicken, cheese, apple, grapes, fish, beans etc. And every day, she will bring her favourite book to me or Daddy, requesting for us to read to her.
On a different note, both me and Daddy are very impatient people, and reading storybooks to our little girl daily has really helped to build up our patience. That's a good thing.
