I received an sms from Auntie Natalie asking us if we would like to bring Heidi to join Cheryl and Keziah for a little dip in a baby pool at the Seow's place. I was tempted to join them, so after discussing with Daddy, we rushed home to collect her swimsuit. We were actually at my inlaws place earlier on and the grandparents had brought Heidi out to the beach and playground while we went to the East Coast Food Village to have lunch.
When we reached the Seow's place, Heidi who had dozed off in the car was still napping so she missed out all the good fun in the little pool with the 2 girls. She must have been totally exhausted from the little outing her grandparents had brought her earlier on.
When Heidi had woken up from her nap and the kids got all prepared, we left to have dinner at Novena Square. Today is a Saturday and most of the places were pretty much occupied. We finally settled for Japanese food again at a restaurant. Heidi gave me and Daddy a pretty hard time cos she refused to have her dinner cooperatively and only wanted to have a few spoonfuls of plain white rice. Thereafter she doodled and played around with Auntie Nat's colour pencils and even refused to keep and return them when we were about to leave the restaurant after dinner.
Next time I better make sure Heidi has a good nap before bringing her out for dinner. This is the second time we had Japanese food together, right Auntie Nat? Let's try other types of cuisine, shall we? Like Korean or tim sum? Or crabs?? *wink wink*
