San Francisco/San Jose Trip 28th Oct - 8th Nov 2010 (Day 4 Part 1)

This morning, we were going to the Happy Hollow Park and Zoo! My Little Red Riding Hood was all ready dressed and raring to leave the house.

Thanks to Auntie Wendy who got her a Halloween basket for her treats so my Little Red Riding Hood had a "basket." :)

Auntie Wendy had to park her vehicle at a distance cos the carpark near the Happy Hollow Zoo and Park was full. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our short walk in the beautiful cool weather to our destination.

The Little Red Riding Hood admiring a stamp on her hand upon entrance to the zoo/park

Collecting some goodies from a booth.

Little Red Riding Hood with a gorilla?

Collecting more treats!

How could the kids miss out the Merry Go Round? Armand was dressed up as a doctor.

Little Red Riding Hood and a vampire?

There was also a Halloween costume parade where we saw many happy children and grown-ups dressed up as princesses, Toy Story characters, Star War characters and many many more.

Daddy took a picture of this father and daughter dressed up in police and prisoner costumes.

Heidi and Daddy took a ride in a roller coaster and my Little Red Hood was not frightened at all and even asked to ride up again.

We then came to a huge playground where the kids spent some time having fun.

We also took the tram around the zoo/park. Aunty Wendy was dressed up in a cat suit and Amelie, a fairy princess.

My happy Red Riding Hood.

This was a kids' Archaeologist area where the kids could use brushes to brush off sand to "discover" some fake dinosaur bones.

Pictures of some animals at the zoo/park.

Before we left the zoo/park, I had to have a picture with this jellyfish lady!

Halloween Trick or Treat would start this evening. :)
