Setting off!
We first went for lunch at Sakae Sushi at Tradehub 21. This was a totally cool place for me for very good reasons. As there was a playground for children, the kids could play and have fun while the adults take a breather and have their meals in peace. We took the Private Room for a small top-up fee of $10. However this fee will be waived if the total bill exceeds $100. A good reason to take the Private Room is that the room was separated from the playground by just a sliding door. Very convenient for us to keep a lookout on our kids.
Our kids having lots of fun!
Our spread of lunch
Heidi enjoying her lunch set before running off to the playground again.
After filling our tummies, we were off to another place - Rochester Park!
It was thanks to Auntie Angeline who knew about this new play place for the kids.
A fairy? A fireman?
Trains, anyone?
The Playhouse is a indoor and outdoor playground housed in a grand colonial bungalow. There are 2 floors of play area. Parents can leave their children in The Playhouse for a small fee charged hourly while they enjoy a drink in the cafe just outside the building. Outside by the outdoor cafe is a sand pit and water-play area which are currently still under construction. Our kids kept themselves busy with costumes changing, train sets, ball pool with slide, kitchen and cooking sets and many others while Auntie Angeline and I went ouside to the cafe to look see, relax and enjoy some cold drinks.
Our kids were very reluctant to leave the place when it was time to. Luckily there were snacks to cheer them up a little.
We all had fun! :)
